Landscape Design

Landscaping your home is about you! It’s the expression of you for everyone to see and enjoy. We offer an In-House Landscape Design experience, putting you one-on-one with our designer. This is the opportunity for you to work through different designs, and should you desire, to shop together through our greenhouses and tree & shrub yard – to provide you with a full appreciation for all of the different options available.

To begin, call to schedule an appointment. Appointments range from approximately 1 to 2 hours, depending on your design needs. Once you’ve made an appointment, the Thomsens In-House Landscape Design kit will be mailed to you (or can be picked up at our Garden Center).

Be sure to consider these factors in successfully completing the Landscape Design Kit:

• The layout of your home on your property, with accurate measurements. Indicate north, south, east and west.
• Primary areas of family traffic; walkways, driveways, outdoor living areas, child play areas, doorways/entrances.
• Sun and shade exposures.
• Views – outside looking toward your home, and inside looking out of your home.
• Pictures, pictures, pictures. Take many and bring them with you.

The fee for our Design Experience is $50 hr, due at the end of the consultation. After your design is complete, we will present you with a coupon for $50 off your landscaping and gardening purchases totaling $300 or more at our Garden Center.
