Fundraising
Thomsens is rooted in the local community and proud to support the diverse needs of non-profit organizations throughout the area. As a means for your group to raise funds, we offer a Gift Card Fundraising Program. Known in the region for unsurpassed quality, selection and expertise, the Thomsens Gift Card is an easy sell and a great way to bring in extra funds for your organization or cause.
The system we have arranged operates as such: Your organization will sell Thomsens Gift Cards in amounts that can range from $20 to $500. Ten percent of the total gift card sales are then given back to your fundraising organization. Those who buy the gift cards can redeem them at Thomsens Garden Center for beautiful annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs or garden décor.
Please fill out the Fundraising Application, and fax or mail it back to Thomsens. For more information, however, feel free to contact Thomsens to have all of your questions answered. Once we receive your request, we will respond to you within 1 week.
Please consider the following requirements before completing the application:
Guidelines of Qualifying Institutions:
• Educational: Funds are used to support a school or school-related organization (i.e. band club, student or parent group associated with a school or educational institution).
• Religious: Funds are used to support non-profit church activities or church-related organizations (ie. youth groups within the church).
• Charitable: Funds are used to support a charitable organization or benevolent cause.
• Community: Funds are used to support community-based activities devoted solely to charitable, educational or recreational purposes and not for individual gain.
